The poster was created during a 13.1 hour poster competition at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia. It is hand painted in watercolor for a humanistic touch and is a representation of all of the different types of people that come together to run the race. Whether its the runner, volunteers, cheerleaders, or by-standers, in the end each participant wins. It was chosen by Publix supermarket representatives as the winning poster and was distributed throughout the state of Georgia during the marathon dates.
